"If you can believe it, you can achieve it."Bio: Personal Trainer Michelle brings a variety of experience to the Exercise Floor. She worked as a home health aide and manager for Bayada Nurses after a successful career as an office manager with accounting responsibilities. She earned her certification as a personal trainer and exercise therapy specialist from the International Sports Sciences Association. Michelle continues taking courses in nutrition and physical fitness through United Way.
Michelle's fitness sessions focus on circuit training to help her clients achieve both cardio and strengthening goals. Her experience in exercise therapy makes her skills an excellent match to those recovering from surgery or illness. She oversees her programs with patience and encouragement, whether striving to move beyond rehabilitation, lose weight, or improve athletic performance. She especially enjoys working with youth and those struggling with obesity issues.
In her free time, Michelle plays basketball, rides her bike, and goes for runs. She enjoys reading, listening to jazz music, telling jokes, and sharing a hearty laugh. She also coaches a youth fitness class and youth basketball. Her favorite eats include an assortment: curried salmon, zucchini fritters, and vegan General Tso chicken.
