"When I was younger, I suffered depression. Movement was one of the things that helped me overcome this condition. When I walked into my first fitness class, I felt alone, self-conscious, and scared. Those feelings diminished when the instructor came up to me with a big smile and a nice warm welcome. Then, I realized my natural ability to connect with people made Group Fitness instruction the perfect career for me to get people moving, release their stress, and have fun."
